So basically to make a long story short, my computer that it was going to record the videos without audio… And what good does that do me!
But anyways, How pretty is this cover! 🙂 ❤
Kate and Vincent have overcome the odds and at last they are together in Paris, the city of lights and love.
As their romance deepens there’s one question they can’t ignore: How are they supposed to be together if Vincent can’t resist sacrificing himself to save others? Although Vincent promises that he’ll do whatever it takes to lead a normal life with Kate, will that mean letting innocent people die? When a new and surprising enemy reveals itself, Kate realizes that even more may be at stake—and that Vincent’s immortality is in jeopardy.
In Die for Me, Amy Plum created a captivating paranormal mythology with immortal revenants and a lush Paris setting. Until I Die is poised to thrill readers with more heart-pounding suspense, spellbinding romance, and a cliff-hanger ending that will leave them desperate for the third and final novel in the series.
Let me first just say that this is probably one of my favorite series, I hold it up there with things like The Caster Chronicles by Kami Garcia and Margret Stohl, and The Mortal Insturments/ Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. One of the main things about the book is that the main characters, Kate and Vincent, are just so down right lovable! They are probably one of the best couples I have ever read. They have such amazing chemistry and when they are together everything just seems right. I can’t really think of a time in either of the two books where I just sat there and was like, “….. Really, did you just do that!?” But now to the actual book.
Until I Die, basically follows Vincent and Kate’s journey to find a way to help, Vincent resist the urge to sacrifice himself to save people, because Vincent has promised Kate that he will find a way to make their lives together as normal as possible. But this decision doesn’t come without consequences, and Kate has to decide what she can and cant live with. Until I Die definitely didn’t disappoint!
With the introduction of two new characters, in Violette and Arthur, who are highly respected and old revenants. There is always a small drop off of the old characters. I definitely missed some of Jules sarcastic and witty dialog, and Charles troubled self. But the introduction of two interesting characters like Violette and Arther absolutely made up for it!
The end of Until I Die will definitely put you through a whirlwind of emotions! One second I was happy, the next I was crying, and then crying turned into fits of rage! The ENDING has to be one of the most EVIL cliffhangers in the existence of books! I have no idea how im going to survive until May of 2013 with a cliffhanger like that!
If you haven’t read Die For Me and Until I Die you HAVE TO go pick them up!
